Don't you know it!! We have an access road to the back side of the Mission Valley Mall that runs THROUGH the San Diego River! It floods with anything over about 1/2" rain. The lower level of the parking structure also floods.

Doesn't help that we're getting our annual rainfall in a couple of months! We got about 20% of our annual rainfall in the last 2 weeks!

And we're still in a drought; according to Moonbeam! I guess he doesn't know that SoCal is a desert...

Super happy she went with the Mocha Nappa leather. Contrasts the darker exterior color well.

LOL!

Hope the car will be OK! If not, it's a clear APB for any second hand flood cars in this spec.

The one fireman is looking back and saying that's Mocha Nappa Leather!

I have the exact same color combo Sophisto Grey Metallic with the Mocha Nappa Leather!

Sometimes I wonder what people are thinking when they start driving their cars into what obviously looks like deep water.

I pray for that F10 hope it survives.

As for the lady I think she's happy to be in that fire mans arms ... :

even when it's obviously flooded and looks pretty deep or sketchy for a car to go through i still see people attempting to go through it anyways than get stuck in the middle. doesn't help when i drive through it with my lifted Titan and drive right by them

I dont know if the girl getting rescue is really short or the fireman's are Andre the giant but at less than knee high water, this picture looks very dramatic.

Should be OK as long as there isn't any cabin or trunk intrusion...

Yeah that nubuck leather is a bitch when it gets wet :

I wonder if they carried her all the way to dry ground?

The rockers should be shin height for most right?

There actually was a sighting of a puddle on a sidewalk just yesterday morning. It was all over the news. FEMA responded and luckily no one was hurt.

Don't you just love the Team Coverage?? So, Bob, is it raining in Scripps Ranch? Why, yes it is. Sally, is it raining in Chula Vista? Why, yes, it is. Frank, is it raining in Oceanside Why, yes it is...

Cracks me up every time we get a rain drop! Let's not talk about incompetent drivers on bald tires!

Put a bucket of water NEXT to the freeway in San Diego and, voila, a multi-car collision. If only the incompetents hurt only themselves...

That's typical Cali lol! I grew up there and I didn't realize how normal driving out there isn't really normal at all. Being in Ohio for 5 years now I think made me old lol! When I went back to visit last year being in all that traffic and drivers driving behind me tailgating my a$$ doing 80MPH like nothing kinda freaked me out buy I realized that it's just normal for Cali drivers. Lane changing at the last second... normal! Even when it rains in Cali people still fly up the 15 doing 80MPH... just crazy! Sounds really funny to me saying that especially growing up in SD 40+ YEARS

Doing 80mph in rain in a F10 with proper street performance tires and some common sense is one thing... doing 80mph with bald tires in a 20 year old corolla is another.

I dream of a utopia where there are different speed limits based on driver ability and car performance class.....

DAMN, that car looks sexy even in 12 inches of water!
