Have a feeling I am being duped with the numbers ...Advice needed.

We were at the showroom yesterday to buy a car for my wife and got quoted the following for the2014 535xi and 550xi.

All numbers are for leasing a car for 36months 15k miles/year,0$ down

535xi [MSRP 80850, loaded] 1268/month

550Xi[MSRP 89000,loaded] 1420/month

550GT Xdrive[MSRP 95550,loaded]1393/month

At first look i had a feeling i was being ripped. I asked them to mail me the residuals and MF but What do you guys think about these numbers.I might come down on the miles to 12k but these numbers seem to be bloated IMO.I would appreciate some input here.

Your question will not get responses without the facts of your situation. You only provide the MSRP and payment for 15kmiles.

We need money factor, cap cost (your purchase price) residual percentage to have any input for you.

Then let us know..

Holy jesus....If I am paying 1400+ for a car per month it better be for a M5 at the bare minimum. You may want to consider looking at a 13 M5 instead if you are willing to pay that much for a car.

You need to never go back to that dealership again. They think you're an idiot. I'm no car leasing whiz but $1268/ month x 36 months= $45,648 (I seriously hope tax is included).

That car has sold for $50,000. Better deal to BUY the 2013 for a few grand more than leasing a car for 3 years, no matter how great the car is.

I know its a different car but leasing a 535 for 45k when you could buy a 535i for 50k puts things into perspective. I know the car he is looking at is better than the auction one but you should never pay that much for a 535 lease. I agree with the others, get a M5

I can’t remember exactly, but I ended up with 67K 535I M Sport for $667.00 including tax. M5 was tempting, but extra 500.00 + bucks was a little stretch.
