My F10 535i vs G30 530i m sport side by side

nice side by side. It really makes the G30 look barely different than our F10s. Which I personally love.

Definitely don't like the amount of plastic diffuser on the rear bumper. Also not a fan of the connecting headlight to grill.

Some more closeup pics. I have a feeling the G30 would look much better especially in the m550i trim and Black. If I do upgrade I would probably wait a couple years for the lci 550i. Or better yet I would probably look into the new 2017 redesigned Panamera GTS.

i watched a video on this and the new G30 sits just a tad taller at 78" and an 1" longer which they said is more leg room for the rear passengers. tho for their "M Package" i wonder why they decided 19" wheels instead of 20"?

I believe they have an optional 20" wheel option for those with M sport. Most likely M performance wheels. There will also be the 20" from the upcoming M550i

Thanks for posting one side by side. The F10 to me has much more presence than the G30. Plus the 530i and 540i have exactly the same rear with the dual exhaust. Nothing sets the 2 models apart except what's in the engine bay now. At least with the F10 528i and 535i you knew the dual exhaust was a 535i.

I was not blown away when I saw and test drove the 540i. Will I trade? Most likely in the future but would have to be the M5 or M550i. I'm leaning towards an X5 as well now ha.

Nope. Only the 530i.

The 530i has the B48 4 banger whereas the 540i has the I6 B58 engine. Both much tuner friendly then the N20 and N55 it replaces respectively...

Still not fully feeling it, but maybe seeing one in real life will change my mind. I wasn't a fan of the massive grills of the F10 at first but it grew on me and now i love it.

The wife likes it tho she was looking at the X5...not sure it it makes sense to have 2 5 series sitting in the driveway?

I don't see a problem with that. Even though it's still a 5 series the technology it packs is so much more advanced then the F10, especially with the optional display key that lets you control the car including parking.

right! also, i won't even do anything to her car except probably tinted windows. maybe a couple of exterior components but she'll probably tell me to play with my own car and leave her's alone

i'll probably wait and see what problems the car has first as usually the first year release has bugs that need to be fixed
