Weird issue I've had for way to long

Car hesitates when Im on freeway in comfort mode under 2k rpms.

If I hold gas just to maintain speed at anything below 2000 rpms My car jerks a bit, You can hear it too because I have a full exhaust system.

Did it stock (less noticeable because car is silent).

If I put car in sports mode and stay over 2k It doesnt do it.

No codes, took it to bmw even when car was stock and they couldnt figure it out.

Its annoying the hell out of me.

Any ideas?

For what it's worth my 11' was documented with this same issue before and after the care package. According to the service manager it's a known issue BMW is trying to work on. I kick it into a lower gear to raise the RPM's and it goes away.

I have the same exact issue. Did you find a solution? One shop told me it night be a exhaust sensor but I told them to leave it alone.

Its at Gintani right now getting looked at since they work on these types of cars I hope they find the issue.

BMW dealers all say they can't replicate the problem. I mean it is hard to catch because it only does it below 2k rpms on freeway while maintaining speed.

Ya I know what you mean. Mine does it when cruising 20-60 mph in high gear maybe 6 or 7 around 1500 rpm. Above 1500 and it's good. What exhaust setup do you have? And keep me posted please, I thought the issue was from my muffler delete causing too much loss of back pressure.

I have the Shetigen exhaust, but it did it w/stock too, just harder to notice because you can't hear shit.. But with an exhaust system you can here it as it hesitates.

Another member had the same choking issue at low rpm on his low-mileage M550d being on warranty. The dealer techs turned the car inside out, checked it top to bottom and even replaced the xDrive before the issue was found. That was: injectors.
Both N63 and N63TU need the injectors to be checked and serviced.

Just got thru this issue. It was a bad coil. Replaced all 6 for good measure. Hesitation was more noticeable with increased load (i.e. Traveling uphill ).

Stating the obvious here but...perhaps a slight chance that's what you're experiencing ...just sharing my recent experience with same symptoms. Cheers.

Did you experience the throttle start to stutter around 1500 Rpms? If I'm heavy foot on the gas I don't feel it.

I did the CCP already.. They finished my car the next morning and allegedly replaced the necessary components. I was driving the crap out of the loaner, so something makes me think they just wanted me to return my car. That, plus it should've taken more than one day to replace the parts.

If it does turn out to be injectors with the old part number then bmw dealer will be hearing from me soon!!

You didnt hear back? Or they couldn't find the issue ? If it's the injectors I wonder if they'll replace them again under the CCP

Did you notice the hesitations above 1500 rpm?

Where did you get the replacement coils from?
