Smile 550i Satin White Pearl Wrapped, AG m510's other goodies...

Got this car in November of this year and loved the look of it but thought it could use some upgrades . This is my first BMW, previous car was a 2006 cls55 with a kleeman k6 package on it. Just order the Brembo BBK, and also will be getting the upgraded dinan turbos and some other goodies this month to complete the package, also ordered some 5mm spacers for front and 10mm for rear. Not really happy with the way the wheels are sitting currently.

Before

Before

I Also have the stock M-Tech 19" wheels for sale with the stock run flat tires, and also the m6 gran sport wheels with no tires never mounted that I was going to put on the car but decided against it when i saw the Avant Garde m510 wheels. LMK if you're interested in purchasing either.

Amazing transformation. Looks like the installer did a great job on the wrap. That color is stunning and the AG510 are some of my favorites. My only suggestion would be to wrap the turn signal housing in white as well.

Thanks guys!!
MBbrewer: I was thinking the exact same thing a couple of days ago. I think the turn signal color matched will look much better. I'm going back to the shop on saturday to have the "M" stripes on the grill continue over the driver side passenger fender and will have them fix those side signals as well. Thanks for the input .

Thanks! Got it from **********s I believe. I'll try and find the link. I had my custom exhaust installed prior to the diffuser so when they went in to install the diffuser it wouldn't fit over the tips. So I had to go back to muffler shop and have them cut the tips and drive back to the shop and install diffuser and drive back to the muffler shop. While I was at the muffler shop I decided the exhaust wasnt loud enough so we cut the resonator out the center and replaced it with an X pipe. Sounds a lot better and this diffuser does look much more aggressive then some of the others i've seen. Some may not like it but to each his/her own. I had the exhaust tips welded to sit along the line of the diffuser from a sideview. I'll see if I can post up some pics of the exhaust from underneath the car if anyone's interested.

Hands down one of the best transformations I've seen! I actually wrapped my car also! But I'm loving the 3D style lip! And you wrapped it also. Good job man! Where did you get the difusser from? And what are you lowered on?

Thanks!! The car is lowered on h&r springs and the front diffuser we painted gloss black and then wrapped. The rear diffuser I bought from a sponsor here starts with a n M second word bargains. For some reason when I post the name it's getting blocked.could be because they are no longer a sponsor here?

That's funny.. starts with a and end with a Lol! For some reason it won't let you post links?

There's 2 different ones from them. Is it the M5 DTM or Mtech DTM? I ask because that's where I'm planning on purchasing from. Also getting those side skirt extensions from them. How's the diffuser fitment? Any issues? Love that DTM version with the aggressive fins than the smaller rounded fins. appreciate your response... Thanks!

OK cool...reason I ask is if I went with the M5 diffuser I'd have to adjust my exhaust. Any fitment issues? Do u have any close-up shots of the diffuser?

You know I've never seen anyone ask this but how long do the wraps last up to?

Wraps can last from 2-5 years. Depending on the material used and the installer. OP chose a great brand and it'll easily last 2-3 years if not longer depending on the installer. I think it looks to be a Grade A job, so would not be surprised to see it last 4 years.

Any harm to the paint after 3-4 years?

Agreed. The wrap I spot clean with isopropyl alcohol and water. The entire front end and rear end were removed and wrapped and so were side skirts etc. For a full wash they recommend not abrasive car soap and water hand wash only, also all impurities were clay bared prior to wrapping to prevent particles of dirt under wrap from eating away at paint under the wrap

Nope. If you wrap only parts of the color discoloration might appear as the paint under the wrap isn't exposed to the elements, but a full car wrap will leave your paint in the same condition as it was when you wrapped it.

A good wrapper would make sure the paint is in perfect condition by claybarring it, thoroughly washing it and using a vaccuumed room to ensure no impurities end up between the wrap and the car.

Ho-lee crap! Love that Satin Pearl White. The brake colour and rims set it off nicely. Props to your Wrap Installer.
