My 405 brembo was $35K.
Stock car does not have electronic dampers so changing to coilovers has no effect. Unless you pay to get the EDC option.

No dramatic difference in daily driving. More responsive but I don't do hard braking all the time so not really night and day. Tracking might have big difference. Nowadays any mods you might get in trouble. I mean any mods. So if you want zero trouble, stick with stock. I had bumped into many road blocks and no citing yet. People said BBK with no alternation of brackets and other parts will not breach the law. Can't confirm though.

The only oem route is to source stock brakes from 535i or 550i & put them on a 528i. |

Brembo big brake kit comes with all components with no alternations. So it's legal sort of speak. But you will never know what the cop will accuse you of. People get cited without mud guards.

If the police want to Fxck with you, they will find a way. I wouldn't worry too much.
