Don't know if this has been posted already, but this sucks, it's now halogen.

Is that confirmed for US cars? That would totally suck if it is.

I think with the LED lighting package. The eyebrow strip above the low beams should blink. Maybe this just applies to non-LED package.

I love this little bit of tech. Am I the only one who thinks this looks great?

I knew about the halogen front indicator, and cool to see the front LED indicator.

Making people want the LED headlights more.

I'm working on a retrofit for the front preLCI.

We have those white eyebrows that semi-glows at night.
My retrofit is going to implement one of the brightest LED strip. It's industrial grade in pure white.

In the attached picture. You can see that there's an empty space behind the white eyebrows and if you follow it all the way to the edge. You can see it's lit up by only 2 LEDs.

To avoid LED hotspots. I'm going to mold frosted acrylic behind the eyebrows and add the 2 strips of LED behind that. One pure white and one orange.

The white LED will light up all the time 24/7 with the angels and the orange strip will light up as you turn the blinkers. It's going to be noticeable during the day cause the LEDs I'm buying are 700 lumens per foot. It's going to be blinding at night. But glowing white eyebrows is sickkkkkk.

It's going to look maybe better than the LCI standard xenons.

Will update you guys.

Nice work on the lights! I'm planning to do almost the same.

This is a MAJOR disappointment Why would BMW choose to take such a big step backwards?

This story gets even worse. I picked up my 2014 528i Luxury yesterday after a very humid and rainy day. The headlights were almost completely fogged up on the inside and had water droplets in there also. Probably 50 other cars on the lot (2013s) and mine was the only one with fogged up lights (we checked all of them). I refused to accept the car until the service manager & GM looked at it and agreed that they needed to be replaced since no other cars on the lot experienced the same issue under the identical circumstances. Well, I take the car home and start reading the manual and apparently fogged up headlights are now considered "normal". WTF!!!!! Who wants a $60K car with fogged up head lights? Twenty four hours later and they are still fogged up. The replacements should be in next week, but if this normal, I will not be very happy Anybody else experience this yet?

Sad , but true. Standard xenon headlights now have ugly orange halogen bulbs for turn signal. Definite downgrade from pre-LCI headlights. Looks like a lot of us will opt for the upgraded LED headlights. Now we have to pay for the things we got included in pre-LCI F10.

WTF alright . C'mon BMW, you cannot be serious. You may as well stick candles in there and expect us to light 'em with flint before we get going. I'm offended that you would try and pass this crap onto an educated buyer.

I have the lighting package (LED) on my LCI and I did notice some fogging on the sides of the head lamps the first night I took the vehicle home. That was 3 weeks ago. I have not seen any fogging since.

i guess the upside of the lci xenon without led is if you looking to upgrade your pre lci with halogens to xenons then the lci ones maybe a cheaper option as you dont need to source led indicator packs as on the pre lci xenons!!
