F10 550i Drivetrain Malfunction / Oil leak?

Has had this happen to me a couple of times, under a very aggressive downshift the car and the car pops off a drivetrain malfunction light. I restart the car and then it clears. As well as, about every 4,000km (I drive fairly aggressively always pushing the car) the car signals to me to top up the car with a quart of oil. I lifted the car up and it does seem like oil has been leaking, is this a common issue for some?

The malfunction light is not normal and you should have the codes read.
Your oil consumption is good for these cars...I have to add a quart about every 800 miles.

Drive train malfunction normal if you are running a tune, because tranny detects torque surge during sudden acceleration, so safety kicks on and give you the message.

Yes be very careful with with running the car on E, always have a quarter tank, if not I?t burns out fuel injectors and creates leaks.

Like everyone said the oil consumption is fine, but read the code and see what is says, could be typical drive train malfunction on N63.
