Negotiate residual at lease end??

As the question states can we call BMW NA and negotiate this figure? If so, what ammunition do I need? How do I figure out what the real market value is? Probably doesn't make any sense whatsoever but just want to check all options.

residual, no. But if your trying to purchase the car they can negotiate the price.
Remember, your dealing with a separate arm of BMW. Those cars are bid on by dealers or go to auction. There is threshold of discount they will go to which is usually admin and transportation costs. Leased cars are profit fodder for the dealer network so discounts are not what they once were. Dealers, like mine bought the property next to them and have a separate used building and lot!! They need cars. Perhaps some are more prone to go to auction and they might do better than on other models that don't.
My last leased car ended 6 years ago and they told me I'd do better buying off the lot. The price was high then.
Please keep us informed to your answer.

No you can not negotiate the residual value of the vehicle. The residual value is the value and which you must purchase the lease out for, it is the guaranteed value of the vehicle.

That value is only adjusted on the front end of the lease (which is your actual time to negotiate) based on the construction of your lease. (Terms, price, money factor)

Garage List
My lease ended in June of this year on my 2013 535i non sport. I could have bought the car for $36,000 and some change. In March I went to the dealer looking because I wanted to get rid of my current 535i. It wasn’t the color I wanted and it didn’t have all the options I wanted. Be aware my wife picked it out. While at the dealer I saw a used 2013 M Sport Alpine white with all the options I wanted. They wanted $32,500 and the miles were less than mine. They took my lease with no penalty and I bought the Alpine white M Sport and I am a happy camper.

I suppose this was part of Pull ahead program but nonetheless this option is usually best IF you can find the car you want on their lot. You have to give in to a few options wanted or unwanted and compromise. I'll probably end up doing that but hopefully the timing is right.
