How do I set Range??

Hello to all... Quick question, does anyone know how to set up the range for miles left till re fuel on the dash?? It comes with only the trip counter on there and I would rather keep the miles till empty as the deffault. I know I had it like that from the factory on my old 3 series. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks...

Press the BC stalk on left side of steering wheel repeatedly until "range" shows up between the speed-o-meter and tachometer.
