OEM retrofit kit is in region of 1K.

So I had to used after market media card (was surplus to my requirements) and that allowed me to have reverse camera input.

Camera quality is okish but not closer to oem cameras. I may change the camera.

Very happy with folding mirrors and dip on reverse is very useful if you have immaculate wheels. I had folding mirrors on my last two bmws so missed it badly. Glad I managed to retrofit it.
Hi Makkan

What work does the folding mirrors involve and what is the cost .

Thanks

Few pointers:
1- You'll need electric folding mirrors.
Paid approx £400 for a pair. Its expensive but you hardly find a pair of electric folding mirrors for F10.
2- wiring difference
3- window switch is different
4- coding required

Fitting charges are £150.

Interested in the folding mirrors too, did you need any extra ecus? Do you have memory seats?

Can you re-use your old painted covers or do you need to get new bits painted?

As per my post above
- No extra ECU is required (though window switch is required)
- Memory seats are not required (I have standard seats)
- I used my oem mirror covers as my folding mirrors had different colour caps

Best feature which I missed was mirror dip on reverse.
Pain in bum when you have to manually adjust the mirror every time when you reverse.

Hi, thanks for answering, wanted to be sure (some have said it cant be done without power memory seats or extra ecus). Where did you get the mirrors from?

I am gonna have to add this to the must-do list now!

Whats next? I read earlier you mentioned 6WA, got one yet?

I sourced it on ebay.

I have done it on previous series and I had some idea how to do it.

6WA was fitted and I could not get rid of red dot. Also, I did not feel much difference so its gone at the bottom of my retrofit list.
