Can you confirm it only works when car stationary? What happens when the car moves off, screen is blanked, or you just cannot interact any more? What kind of pages are supported, HTML5, flash ?? Is the browser, GPS aware?? Thanks.

Don't think it's GPS aware, just a simple browser. It's not strange that BMW didn't charge anything for the option, not so much functionality yet.. |

If you get a chance, would love to know, e.g. by going to maps.google.com and seeing if it can get a position and whether you can leave it on and drive off..

Not possible to use when driving, I'll get back about the maps. So the maps doesn't interact with the car, basically it's just a browser and it's terribly slow despite good 3G coverage.. Don't think I wil use this feature much unless BMW enhance it with a software update..

Thanks, just done about 4000km and my average this far is 7,5l/100km which is 38 mpg. Guess it will go down a bit once closer to 10000km.

And just to confirm, viewing google maps, doesn't find your current location using the cars builtin GPS?

Great, in my opinion the best looking rims for the F11 M-sport.
No regrets about the 525D? Have the dieselheater worked well? Does it warm up the engine as well or just the cabin? |

Very happy with it, but would probably have gone for 530d or 535d if a complete new order but now I needed a car immediately so I went for a stock car. Soon I will chip it with hartge or similar. The heater is great, it is very quick. Had different answers but checked with BMW and they say it heats engine and cabin.

So you miss your R36 since you´re considering to tune it with ecu from hartge
But I think you´re doing the right choise going for Hartge and not one of the cheaper alternatives. |

Was always a fan of petrol engines and the R36 was a sweeeet engine and 4wd, but the rest was nothing special..

Let us know if you decide to go with Hartge for the 525d (I guess that would be SAM in Gothenburg?). Pricey but at least you get some warranty.
