Dust in headlights is it normal?

I washed my car recently and I noticed that there's some dust in the headlights (xenons). Is this normal? Aren't they supposed to be hermetically sealed? Obviously I've never messed with them. Thanks.

doesn't sound right to me, post a picture. Not sure how much you are talking about.
I too thought they were sealed so you don't get condensation in them.

I believe the light units do have vent holes to get rid of condensation. They are not sealed. Mine sometimes get a little condensation and I asked dealer who said its quite normal to get a little condensation but this should disappear soon after the lights are activated.

I don't have any dust but both lights have had condensation when the car was hot and the rain was cold and once when I hand-washed the car. It dissipates quickly with lights off and very fast with the lights on.
