550i metal grinding sound after 20" 343m install????
Hey guys I have a 13' 550i m sport w 20" 343m wheels and I am hearing and feeling a metal grinding sound on medium/hard acceleration. It doesn't feel like Wheel rub or anything like rubber contacting plastic. I have gotten under and taken a few looks and I dont see any evidence of metal shavings or any divits or marks so I am really confused. Do I possibly need spacers if so how much, if not do u have any ideas. I have pzero 255/35/20 for fronts and backs are 285 /30/20

I believe LCI 550's require a 3mm spacer up front to clear the brake calipers. Your '13 isn't an LCI, but check the front calipers for scoring. Maybe for some reason your car has the newer type calipers.

OK I will check that out. Wouldnot that be making noise all the time though. Why would it only be on hard acceleration..
