Hey ARC550, Where can u see the videos?
So I been looking at methods to improve a 2014 550i because id like M5 performance but i love the 550i interior much better than the M5. So I read that huge conversation you had with your buddy black bear about tuning your 550is, & I was wondering how it would compare with an M5. Can you send me the videos somehow? They're not available on you tube anymore

This car with Full exhaust and tune will blow a stock M5 away from a dig and will pull slightly on a roll. The 550I will do better off a roll since its RWD I dynoed 490/510 On a mainline dyno with my mods for comparison purposes M5 F10 dynoed about 460 on same dyno. if it was a dynojet Id be easily at 550WHP. P.S had to remove videos because WIFe.. |

Would you say it's a lot better than the BMS Stage 1 I'm running.

The winner will always be Tune/flash. I have tried every option and the clear winner is the Custom tune I got from Enzo performance. The Gintani is Very good also. I was able to pickup some extra power from the custom tune obviously opposed to a flash. The difference is Big. The power is does not drop at 5k like i does with piggyback the power is all the way to redline and the shifts are brutal. The daily drive ability is also better. But then again your comparing $600 vs $1500 If your tight on budget and don't want any dealer headaches stick with the JB. You can increase power on JB by openining it and increasing the dial which in return increases boost. For the Money, convenience, power there honestly is no better option the JB. It's just easy and no headache lol. INCREASE DIAL!! |
