After a heads up on this forum about the spring 2014 updates (including tyre pressure monitoring), I contacted my dealer to see if my 520d( luxury model) on order would be to the latest standard.

It turned out that as it was to be built in week 9 I would have had the old spec. So build date has been delayed and is now week 10 with spring updates.

I also decided to add some more toys so will have ambient lighting, mulifunctional instrument panel and reverse assist camera to go with the already ordered automatic box (with paddles), headup display, sport seats, driving asistant plus and adaptive LED headlights.

I now only have to wait, I'm so excited.

You've added some nice bits there too, the MFD is well worth it for the sheer 'wow' factor IMHO.

For the sake of a week, I think you've done the right thing, would be a shame to miss out on those bits
