Ambient Lighting

I saw on the BMW power blog that ambient lighting can be changed from orange to white. Is this correct and how do you do it?

can ambient lighting be coded to be MUCH brighter? I've got them up full and you can hardly see them. Seems such a waste!?

But surely 'ambient' doesn't mean bright

I laughed.

I was hoping you could code them to go off. My wife hates it, both in red or in white. It is more of a distraction when the little one is in the back trying to get a sleep in.

To kill them, depress the roof light switch for a few secs - you will have to press it again tho if you want interior lights on when a door opened ....

I think they add a lovely ambience, however I do drive in areas without street lights, where they are pleasant without being intrusive.

I did'nt have them in my E60, and glad I chose them now, including of course the external door handles

Only on the LCI, not the pre-LCI.
