How to register new battery in F11

Hi,
I need to replace the battery (F11 xdrive 2012), I've seen a new Bosch aftermarket with the same capacity of the original.
I have Ediabas installed and functional, is there someone that can post a DIY with the correct coding instructions ?
Thanks Tizinao

Are you taking about the Bosch S6 HP battery? Let me know how you like the battery. I asked forums members coulpe a weeks ago about their thoughts on the battery but no one replied. It's either OEM or Bosch battery for me. But leaning more towards the Bosch because they have 4 year warranty on them.

i remember this was talked about sometime last year and seemed like the dealer at the time was the only one who could register the battery. i could be wrong since it's probably been done and no one has chimed in

All you need is ISTA/D if you are registering a battery of the same type and amp hour rating. If you are registering one with a different rating or type, you need change the type and/or rating with ISTA/P or E-Sys first. I know this from doing it myself.
