No specific experience, but I have kept my eyes peeled over the past couple of years as my car has halogen headlamps. Generally you have it, there are plenty of HID upgrades out there. It seems a bit hit or miss on the success in using these kits. A lot of flickering, error codes thrown, and an occasional damaged lighting module.

You need to get quality HID ballast, canbus not required, avoid slim hid ballast. If you get leds fog, coding is required due to check light on dash, because the car thinks fogs not working even though it will work.

It should work, I don't think you need decoder. I bought off brand led fogs from amazon a year ago, still works. $35 shipped to me. use below link for coding. http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...=952546&page=3 Last edited by paul223; 04-17-2017 at 08:12 PM.. |

Here is a link to my thread when I changed out fog lights to HID http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1260470
The brand purchased was the closest match to stock headlights.
