Not sure how acccurate this is. It's rather well known that the 8 speed auto is faster than the manual transmission. This site tells me the manuel is 3 tenths faster? I don't care who you are, you can't shift faster than the auto.

Nothing like this is ever going to be that accurate. It only knows about peak torque, when what matters for acceleration is the whole torque curve in relation to engine speed and gearing.

0-60 is a lot more about traction than peak hp. The difference in times for a manual transmission is strange as well. Does the calculator assume you are going to dump a clutch at high rpms? In many cars you can reach 60 mph in the second gear at full throttle so the shift time of an auto cannot be much of a hindrance.

If I do a run where I am, 350m above sea level, my 328i isn't going to be as quick as a 328i at 10m above sea level! Negligible, but factual.

Yes (because air is less dense the higher you go), which is why the software lets you specify altitude, among other things (like barometric pressure).
