New F11 owner

Hi all,
In the past few months I must have been one of the most frequent visitors of this fine forum, even though I have not posted or reacted a lot. Thank you all for your input in this forum, since your information has helped me make up my mind about my new baby. Since I live in the Netherlands and the tax system is ruthless, I have ordered a pretty basic car from the factory and have enriched it with accessories afterwards to keep the company tax reasonable. So this will be it as of mid of February (why doesn't time move faster )

528i F11 Titanium silver
Manual tansmission
sport steering wheel
Anthrazit headliner
black panel display
Ambiance lighting
Alluminum panels
PDC
Roofbars

Accesories (not stock BMW):
M sport package
Black dakota leather (incl heated seats)
19 inch 351 rims
Privacy glass
Shadowline
BMW Performance grill shadowline
USB integration
Bluetooth integration
Alarm
Audio upgrade (Audio System X-ION 200, Mosconi (Gladen) DSP receiver, focal IBUS20 subwoofer)
Xenon 5000K
Philips silvervision PY24W Chrome coated blinkers (to avoid the orange look)
Weisslicht bright white courtesy lights in doors
New sunvisor on the right to avoid the ugly stickers
AC Schnitzer lowering set (Non-RFT)
Shadowline painted front bumper inserts
Shadowline painted diffusor
Maggi Trak sport snowchains

1. Angel eyes
How do I make them brighter? Yes, I have the standard halogen setup and I know the Xenon-equiped cars have better looking angel eyes. I was wondering if anyone has succesfully upgraded this on a halogen car?

2. I will have ACS suspension with 19 inch non-rft, also as my winter setup.
Anyone has experience with this in the snow?
Does this work with snowchains?

3. 245 horses seems okay but I understand that there are tuning options for this which would bring it close to 300 horsepower. Experiences?

4. Some of you will call my nuts but I have not ordered a navigation system in my 5 (I must be the only one ;-), since I do not use it that much. For the times that I do need it, I am looking for an aftermarket solution that looks good (fits snug to the ventilation vent) and works good (easy to use). Any ideas?

Thanks for all your help and input in advance.

PS The attached pictures look exactly like mine will look. However, my f11 will be lower due to to ACS.
thanks, Pieter

Gefeliciteerd en welkom.

(Ik heb 'n apart setje 17" winterbanden/wielen die ik er nu niet om heb natuurlijk)

I have a 17"winterset in my garage IF there is a posibility of any snow around here....otherwise just stay with the non RFT's(I also have 20"non rft's they're great) , but if your going to plan to go to the Alps you know what to do....about snowchains, I know they fit on the 225(?) 17"set. 19/20"I'm not sure about(?)

Cheers
Robin

Thanks for the 17" offer but I understand the 19 inch rims are only 245 wide on the touring so this should be okay, gripwise. Furthermore, a height of 40 should also be fine. However, I am a bit worried that the lowering with ACS suspension will mean that I will not have enough room between the wheel and the wheel arch to fit snow chains..... Anyone has experience with this? thanks

Pieter, you should ask forum member Remmib. Haven't seen many questions concerning wheels / fitment that the man couldn't answer....

@Rob, sorry I stole your car ;-) I must say I was leaning to space grau until I saw your car on this forum. Then I saw an F10 in real life, also with the M sport package, and I was sold. I think the lighter colors clearly accentuate the lines of the m sport pack and the "diffusor". Without the M pack, the shadowline and the 19 inches, its one of the dullest cars ever in titanium, no offense to anyone. Summarizing, you have very good taste ;-) Thanks

Snow Chains

Not sure if this is much help but I have an E93 with 19in wheels on 255/35 tyres and not much clearance under the arches. I bought a set of Weissenfels Clack & Go Quattro chains and they work very well, take about 30 seconds to fit. They are the type that only go on the outside of the wheel with nothing on the inside. Not cheap but they work and designed for wheels with little clearance.

My car is at the dealer !

My car is at the dealer. The EUR 14 k list of accessories is currently being installed by the dealer ;-) Hopefully I will be able to pick it up in about two weeks!
I have taken a couple of (crappy quality) iphone shots that show you the conversion from basic F11 to msport version. Canīt wait :-)

Btw, I have found a solution for the angel eyes. LUX told me that their angel eyes should probably work on the F10 (fingers crossed). Furthermore, Maggi makes riducoulsly flat snowchains that should be able to fit in the narrow wheel arches.

I love Wagons! I have a E46 touring! I wish they had the F11's here in the US because I would have gotten a F11 550 instead! So what exactly is EUR 14 k list of accessories being installed?

Is this the list of installations/accessories being installed at the dealer?
