LCI LED retrofit kit
I've read from other posts that there is an LCI LED retrofit kit for older F10's?
If this is true, does anyone know how much it costs and part numbers etc? |

That IS BMW's new light design. Looks just like my co-workers CLS550.
More info here: http://www.netcarshow.com/bmw/2014-m5/ http://www.bimmertoday.de/2013/05/19...-metal-silver/ ^Not in English, but pictures are good http://wot.motortrend.com/spotted-bm...#axzz2WMW8E9LI http://www.0-60mag.com/news/2013/05/...ition-package/ |

That's going to be a bit difficult to do..... The LCI is not a simple light assembly exchange as there are subtle changes on the whole front bumper........... I don't think the LCI LED will fit without modification to pre-LCI front bumper. And I think the LCI LED will require a different light control module than the xenon pre-lci f10.....

Would the LCI xenon headlight be a straight swap ? Or require coding, new wiring harness, new modules?

I dont know. As a matter of fact, IMO they look to be the same body.
I was just highlighting the point mlai was making because there seemed to be a slight misunderstanding. I would like to get them if possible!

It's really possible to retro fit if money isn't a problem.
I read somewhere in the X1 section that they bought the BMW OEM parts and constructed the headlight assembly and installed it onto the car

Personally, I think it looks cheesy if you done LCI modifications to your pre LCI car and that it can be spotted.
Just get yourself the LCI version and save yourself some trouble
