Adaptive headlight module error

Hey guys, has anyone had a headlight module (7262947) problem?

I washed my car the other day and an hour later when I started my car, I could see angel eyes on the passenger side started blinking and sh*t themselves.
I got an error for adaptive light, side light, blinkers.

I removed the headlight module, it had some water on it, I dried it thoroughly but same problem. After I decided to swap the one from the right (drivers) side to the left (passenger) side and it worked perfectly.

I can't believe the module could burn so quickly, I think it's more of a ROM problem where data is stored and module could be resurrected after coding.

In worst case scenario, do you think it will work if I buy similar module with a different serial number and ask BMW to code it for me?

A new STML/STMR module will need to be coded before it works at all.

A used one may or may not work, but it will still need to be run through the learn in procedure with ISTA-D.

Does anyone know how much are these headlight modules selling in Europe or America for?
BMW Australia is charging an arm and all leg for such a small pcb.
$AUD 1300 + programming.
I think it's a bit steep.

I had to buy one for my car last month, it was just under $400 USD new.

I ordered headlight module from US, less than half price including shipping fee compare to BMW Australia prices.

Once it arrived I installed it but car didn't recognize new module, so I took it to a local BMW mechanic and he had it programmed in 10 min.

Programming cost 120 bucks.
