Ok guys, the result (about internet / 614) is not very good

In fact, all options are coded properly - exactly the same way as Barney has (thanks once again for sharing VIN)

The only one chance is left - March build cars coming to the UK with a higher version of the OS, and it is looks like that restriction to launch the browser is built-in the OS itself (the error message shown instantly, without any attempt to connect to the BMW servers)

New version of the software is oncoming (next few weeks), UK dealers are already aware about - it is not a minor, but major update and looks like some new & nice functionality is coming (for example fuel consumption graphics and so on) - so we will try it as last resort

I have followed the same discussion in a German forum, and this is the conclusion so far:

Those countries that can have the BMW Assist will only have Internet over the builtin option. For those countries that still dont have the Assist, there will be an Internet over Handy option.

Looks like this was tested (by BMW?) in Austria for a short period where some forum members had it working, but stopped after a while.

This can also explain why SS14 had success

Just had an update from dvdinmotion they have managed to get the dab option in menu at least appear in my car. No reception as yet but fingers
crosse this should come soon unless that as far this goes and it eventually turn out to be impossible.
These guys are good though and hopefully will have everything sorted soon.

Yes im at the same stage as you now also, they emailed me the Software today and the install all went OK, I got the DAB options now on my menus but no stations as yet, So back in there hands now..

They are top guys and i trust they will sort asap..

Unless like some others think you may need hardware and software ?

I will be getting soon and will post my full experience. Only reason why I am delaying is because I am mid-PUMA on a HUD issue and prefer to wait until BMW is finished. Hope final appointment is tomorrow!

Does anyone have this working with a manual transmission? I tested out a dvd today with the car parked before buying this software and it doesn't work unless the parking brake is active.

Bought the software and had the disk with me for my Performance Center Delivery. I slipped in the disk and it worked just as planned and expected. Made a cross country trip in a new 535i just that much nicer.

Its a 535i (May build) automatic.

I got it for my car, worked good.
Had to burn a second CD, as the first time it didn't work evendo the file where on the first CD.
Happy to have gotten this, very simple install.
Like the delivery concept, very quick reply, burn a CD and boom your ready to use the product you just bought from across the world, very cool.

Got my own question answered by dvdinmotion.com directly - yes, it does work with manual transmissions.

I purchased and installed this weekend, very painless process and works as advertised.
