Unable to fill tires with air.
Hello everyone I purchased my first import ever last week a 2010 335i coupe. I bought it from a local ford dealership and was able to save a great deal of money by purchasing it before the dealership performed any work needing to be done on the BMW. The car has had a few mods done to it from what I can tell and one of them being aftermarket wheels and tires. So long story short my tpms light came on and I went to put air in the tires but wasn't able to get the air chuck pressed onto the valve stem enough to make a seal so the air ended up just leaking out around it on 3 of the 4 tires. I've tried two completely different air compressors. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Valve extenders https://www.amazon.com/Slime-2045-Me.../dp/B003V9TC10
Use them to fill the tires then remove.

Then the problem is either with the existing valves on the wheels or the air chuck you're using.

Agreed. Probably the air chuck, but you used two? What if you take it to a service station and use one of their pay per air chucks, just to experiment. Some chucks do slip and I suppose they could get old and get worse, although I have been using a small AC only Craftsman air compressor for more than 20 years without any repairs.

More than likely the valve core is seized in the valve stem. Local tire shops should have a valve core remover tool. Try to remove the valve core and then replace the valve core. If the valve core is completely seized into the valve stem, you will have to replace the entire valve stem.
