New Member - 535i F10 with small mods
So hi there!
It has been a long time since I read bimmerpost - finally I have decided to become a member today and present my actual daily driver. This is actually my 4th BMW after E36 M3 Coupe, E46 Alpina B3S Coupe and an E46 M3 Coupe. Normally I had planned to buy a fully loaded F30 328i - but I got an interesting opportunity on this one and finally I do not regret ist at all. Its a 535i, 8 speed auto, sophisto grey, oyster / black interior, 19" 331 wheels and a lot of extras (incl. adaptive drive) So here is my baby as I got it some weeks ago: Now with first mods installed: Original Alpina front + rear spoiler + 550i kidney - 535i badge Mods to come in the near future: - Remus Street Race quad exhaust http://s14.directupload.net/images/120326/pongkduh.jpg - Original Hamann rear diffuser http://www.autoteknika.com/wp-conten...W_5_F10_20.jpg 20" wheels (most probably Alpina Classic) are also planned but will have to wait maybe until next year I think. And the 331 do not look that bad. I do not want to lower it - even I know it would look better, I do not want to void my warranty and I am absolutely in love with my adapative drive suspension wich really gives a wide varety of different styles. |

Alpina upgrade. Nice
Congrats. Nice upgrade with Alpina spoilers, gets even better with Alpina wheels and new exhaust.

Thanks guys!
I think it will everywhere in the world - it is up to the dealer to declare it to BMW or not in case of a problem. I just do not want to take the risk, especially with all the options I have. It also has the 4 wheel steering for example. Actually I work at a dealership so this is not my main concern but as said i am really fond of the ride in the different modes of the EDC / adaptive drive and do not want to mess this up. Also a bit concerned about the exhaust drone if I change it but I just can't live with the poor stock sound. *lol* I am not new to modding at all but this 535i just seems so perfect to me at the moment (except for the exhaust note). I just wanted to make it clear as I already saw all the "now lower it" comments coming Last edited by MikeRR; 04-01-2012 at 12:28 PM.. |

It could yes - but as said in the post above its not my main concern and it is much more unlikely that it will lead to some problem.

Thanks for the compliments!

I just think it fits nice with the silver Alpina writing and the inserts in the front bumper. Also a nice contrast with the color. The idea behind it is surely not have it mistaken for a 550i. In another configuration maybe I would have gone with "black out" but I think with the configuration of this car it suits better this way (no M Sport, no Shadowline, no tinted windows) |

Ah come on Chris we'll argue about this next time! In fact it is your fault (or the fault of the M5) if i have a inferority complex now *lol*
Anyway quad exhaust is nothing special on a 5 series you even got a quad exhaust with a 6 cylinder on a 1 series! |

1M FTW !!! :marteaudejustice:
I have no problem with quad exhaust on a 535i, it can be wonderful and classy if it's well done. But it can also look ridiculous !
