Vorsteiner V-FF 103 - 9 x20 / 10.5 x 20 - Tyre help

i'm looking at getting a set of the vorsteiner flow forged V-FF 103s in 9x 20 ET 30 F and 10.5 x 20 ET 40 R.

but am undecided on tyres.

options are

245/35/20 F
285/30/20 R

255/35/20 F
285/30/20 R

255/35/20 F
295/30/20R

does anyone have any input for me please.

I have looked at the following website for help:

http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php...0.5&offset2=40

looks good,

but what is an acceptable difference from stock on the speedo error?

if I go for the wider tyres its looking at just over 1% error.

any advice.

245/35/20 F
285/30/20 R

this is what i'm running on my stock 356's

for the rear you could run a 295 since it's a 10.5" wide wheel.

why not 255 for the front?

I'm thinking the wider the better, especially for the rear.

i mean that's what i'm running for my 20" setup. i don't know if a 255 is considered to wide on a 9" wide wheel? if anything a 255/35 would be a taller tire. now my 21" wheels i'm running 21x9.5 with a 255 but hopefully someone can chime in whether it's ideal to run a 255 on a 9" wide rim

Right I see your point. Thanks.

I think 255 is ok, as M5 wheels for the front are 9x20 and they use a 265/35/20 for the front

thanks,

think I will go with 255 F and 295 rear.

or does it depend on the offset of the wheel also?

It might, front is no problem, but the rears might be. I've have ET46 in the rear, but 11" wide.

thanks.

why didn't you go for 295?

I se that the difference between front and rear width is normally 30

ie. 245 - 275

255 - 285

265 - 295 - (M5)
