Got my new 520d!

So yesterday finally got my new 520d!

Lovely car - and the Jet Black/Oyster/Black combo works really well!

Am very happy with the car and how it drives - put 200 on it already! No worries about buying a car id not actually driven. The sports auto box is a pleasure.... and power wise the car really isnt lacking in anyway.

Was a concern of the 2.0d engine in such a big car - but nothing to worry about - its more then capable (had a 330d remapped to 265bhp til Dec and was worried this was a step down)

BUT .. the paint work - OUCH!!!

Now i see why u guys dont want the dealers touching your car - there are swirl marks over it ... all over .. and a faint scratch i only saw when i got home.

Will all polish out - and i was planning on spending today cleaning it anyway - so thats not a prob anyway.

Looks really cool...nice shiny black.

I ordered mine on Friday, 520d sport Auto, Space Grey with Oyster/Black. Did you get any other options on yours? What is the sport and sport+ setting like on the suspension? can you notice a discernable difference?

Also if you have the standard BMW professional with 6 speakers can you give me a heads up on the quality of sound? Is it good, just OK or bad?

Cheers...Kevin (No idea how long I will wait)

Only options i got were the sports auto and steering wheel, and the business sound system.

I dont think there is any change re the suspension when you play with the switches - think that only works if u have the VDC.
