Help!
Hello all,
I just moved to Toronto a few months back. A friend of mine was visiting and needed a car so I gave him the keys to my 5. Unfortunately he managed to back into a post!! Now I have a long vertical dent in my rear bumper. Was hoping someone could direct me to the best place to get this fixed whether dealership or what have you. Any insights appreciated, thank you. You can try a place in Mississauga that does PDR. Its known as Automagicians 416-434-3368 & the guys name is Marco. He might be able to get it out without the paint job. I got a few dings & a proper dent fixed from him & he did an amazing job & at a very reasonable price. Im not too sure about the bumper though but you can always check. If you wanna take it to a dealer facility, then Budds BMW Collision centre is very good.

Small dent or big one with paint scratches and bumper cracked... is it beyond repair that need part replacment, in your opinion ? If so, European Autobody and Don Valley Auto Collision would be places to visit for a quote.

Thanks Farhan & bobblehead. I think it's repairable. The paint job is intact. Theres a little wee depression in the surface horizontally and a vertical depression that is probably 5 mm at greatest depth. It is bearly noticeable from a distance but surely visible from a foot. It certainly can be left alone but it hurts every time I look at it.

Sounds like just a moderate/minor dent repair. Therefore, any PDR shops shoul be ok to get it done.
I had one dent near the rear wheel well (from SUV door opening) and no paint scratches at all. Cost about $100 to get it done. I would guess it would be $200 in your case ? Just visit a few places to get a quote. If you are in North Toronto, Autodent.ca (Yonge & Steeles) is where I got mine done earlier this Spring. |

Just drop in.
Down the same stree (Doncaster), there is Dent Doctor. Actually I went there first but they quote $300 and I felt being raped and that's why I went to Auto Dent. But you should get a few quotes to make sure you are not being ripped off. http://dentdoctorcanada.com/dent-repair-locations.asp |
