TPMS Malfunction

So, my mechanic did the Tension Struts in the F10 while I was on vacation and somehow killed the brand new battery (he thinks he left the dome lights on for a week)

Not sure if the battery discharge is related (5amp charged it to full after getting it back), but every time I start the car I get a TPMS malfunction. I can clear the codes and all appears to function as normal. but as soon as I turn the car off and restart the issue comes back.

Looking for a place to start. Never a days problem with the car except for normal wear parts. I'm gonna try ro recode the RDC and see if that resolves it, but it seems highly cooincidental that this started only after it was worked on.

Did a TPMS sensor check and all 4 show good battery life.

Any guidance?

Are you using an actual TPMS device to test/code?

Do you have a diagnostic code reader that will give you the BMW hex code for your TPMS MALFUNCTION (like Bimmerlink/ISTA/Carly/Foxwell)? If you do, the hex code can help you narrow down what to look for…to see if it is an RDC module, ABS module, or wheel sensor issue.

Heres some info below that may help.

Got this from Bimmercode. I ordered ProTools from BimmerGeeks, but my ODB adapter won't work with it. Waiting for the BG adapter to arrive. I'm hoping it lost it's coding and I can just re-code it to fix.

The guy here at work has the actual tool to test the batteries and the RDC. He said the sensors are fine, but was unable to recode the RDC. It's not a BMW tool, so he wasn't sure if he could do it with his scanner. I'm hoping the ProTool will re-code it if that's indeed the issue. Otherwise I'm stuck shelling out the 300+ dollars foe a new RDC.

Run your hex code at this site: https://bmwfault.codes/

BTW, are you sure that screen shot is from Bimmercode? Or is it the BimmerLink app?

EDIT: if the control unit is the rdcuds...then the issue appears to be what it says on the screen shot...the RDC unit needs to be encoded. Was it replaced recently?

I think it might be BimmerLink...lol, and negative. No new module. Only weird thing is the battery was severely discharged.
