need your advise on M conversion
My dealer just called me and offered me an awesome deal. My car was in for service on Monday and a customer wanted to buy it! The guys love the way my 5 looks like with the vorsteiner parts and all.
He his offering me an amazing deal on a 550i packed with all options possible beside the M sport pack. Should I go ahead with the transaction and do a conversion M sport pack ? Or I should just order a 550 with a M sport pack ? I don't know how much does it cost to convert the car from standard to M pack. It would be nice to move to M5 conversion but then I need to buy new fenders on top of it... so definitely too expensive. So if anyone did a M conversion and can share your experience, I would appreciate Here a picture of my current car |

There is a lost on my car but what I am saving on the 550 is huge! They had the car on the lot for over 200 days and the car need to leave so they are selling below cost , 20K below sticker price.
Basically I am loosing all my mods on the 528 but it doesn't equate to 20K. |

JohhnyF10 can't help much with the M conversion other than it is straight forward in terms of body parts (you'd need the rear diffuser and pieces and also front bumper and fog assemblies) so it shouldn't be too expensive. Make him throw in the M sport package as part of the deal.
But I must ask..what wheels are those on your car? They're nice...would love to see a front/oblique view!

M Sport bumpers are a retrofit that BMW sells. It's not terribly expensive. I'd ask them to throw it in. M5 conversion would be a lot more expensive and your car isn't an M5 so you shouldn't do it anyways.
Does the car have any sport package? Are the window trims chrome or shadow line? The only things you'd be missing are the seats, steering wheel, and footrest pedal but the last 2 can be retrofitted.
