I never had a bent wheel or bump in a tire in any car I have owned. Only time it happen is if you hit a curb or big pot holes at high speed. You really should be paying attention to your driving.

That was one of the points I was trying to introduce. This is my 4th BMW and I have not had one flat tire, bubble or bent rim. 19"+ wheel is one of the cause of the problem, so are the Good Year Eagle LS2 runflats. There is also the need in these forums to one up on the other person, if one poster say they had 2 flats and 1 bent rim, the next poster will say they had 4 flats, 3 bubbles and 2 bent rims. Finally, there must be a need to justify paying a large sum of money for the tire and wheel insurance, this goes back to BMWrule7's thoughts, with the insurance, they can afford to drive a bit more careless.
