Luckily my buddy was with me and he had his paperwork in his glove box, turns out he got it for $1,380 because he had purchased a bunch of other warranties, but my finance manager didn't know that so he had to man up to his words and matched the $1,380 which I believe is a good deal.

No!!! I had zero tires and zero wheels replaced over the last 18 months 23k miles on my F10. See.

I think in the last 10 years I had one bubble on a tire, and two nails that were able to be patched for $20.

Depends on where you are.

That's why they call it "insurance."

Thank you so much for not having any claims---this keeps my premiums low for next time!

I never had a bent wheel or bump in a tire in any car I have owned. Only time it happen is if you hit a curb or big pot holes at high speed. You really should be paying attention to your driving.

There may be something to that. Maybe if you know you have coverage you become a tad bit more careless.

That was one of the points I was trying to introduce. This is my 4th BMW and I have not had one flat tire, bubble or bent rim. 19"+ wheel is one of the cause of the problem, so are the Good Year Eagle LS2 runflats. There is also the need in these forums to one up on the other person, if one poster say they had 2 flats and 1 bent rim, the next poster will say they had 4 flats, 3 bubbles and 2 bent rims. Finally, there must be a need to justify paying a large sum of money for the tire and wheel insurance, this goes back to BMWrule7's thoughts, with the insurance, they can afford to drive a bit more careless.
