2011 was the first year for the F10 and this car appears to be abused and has quite a few mods done to it, not to mention all the issues with the N63.
I'd personally keep looking. |

If you can swing the cost and truly want a 550i, go with the LCI (BMW's name for facelift models) and the N63TU.
If those aren't an option, I'd look for 535s since the I6 is BMWs bread and butter and the N55 seems to be more reliable than the N63. Good luck. |

Hell no bro, it has some stupid looking mods and probably was ragged on like crazy, oh and it looks as base as a 550i gets.
I can find them no problem, Not sure what your budget is but they are around. This is one is pretty damn loaded and 13 http://www.offleaseonly.com/used-car...59ddx80474.htm

You'll have a better experience with a 528i than a ratty 550i if proves problematic!
That said if you have the financial ability to digest the potential problems then you should get the car you want. You could just put the money instead into a better car or buy the warranties available.

Personally, I would keep looking until I found an M-Sport car that was well maintained. There is no better looking body kit for the 5 series than the M-Sport kit, and that is a factory option. Choose a CPO car if possible, or get a car that the owner has maintenance records for. Buying a BMW without sports package, at minimum, is pointless. Those that don't own a BMW will see any BMW as a very nice car, and they are. However, we are here because we are not just BMW owners, we are enthusiasts. As such we want our BMWs to FEEL and DRIVE as a BMW should, and this simply does not happen without sports package at least. We all know sports package immediately when we see another 5 series - black window trim means sports package. If you see chrome trim is lacks sports package and might as well be a lexus or lincoln

If the interior is as dirty and filthy as this one (remember this is the place you spend your time in a car) and they put that fugly bodykit on, think about what they have done to the engine.
Seems to me like this car was owned by a retard who doesnt care or maintain his stuff... I would never invest my money in this car lol, not even talking about this is a N63 from 2011... |

I wasn't so worried of the body kit
As I would swap it out asap along with suspension. My price range I would say is I don't want to go over 25K 2011-2012 not over 100,000 miles |

Actually, I think it's a AC Schnitzer rep body kit so it's not that bad. Plus side....you already have a quad exhaust setup and vinyl roof wrap. If I was in your shoes, I'd pass it up and look for a '12 535i or newer, preferably something with CPO. You're just playing russian roulette if you're looking at a '11 550i. I went black interior for both our BMW's because that tan interior will eventually get black.
