F06 640i GC m performance exhaust on f10?

I have a f10 535i and was wondering if f06 640i GC m performance exhaust will fit on without any modification besides cutting the exhaust pipe? I'm asking because a guy is selling his m performance exhaust off of his lease car. He told me that it is a direct fit because the car the car shares the same chassis platform and engine. Any advice will be great. Thanks.

check the link. it shows the part numbers for the 640i GC M performance exhaust and comparison against the F10 535i - both engines are the same N55, but part numbers are different - you will need to make adjustments somewhere - probably to the hangers / brackets.

also it shows the tail pipes (covers) are different too.

Thanks, I guess I'll skip out on this deal and maybe look out for a m5 exhaust.

The F12 exhaust will fit the F10 535 just fine. In order to fit different back boxes you need to cut the existing one anyway. The hangers are in the same positions. I recently installed F12 M6 mufflers from RPI on my 535, they fit perfectly.

The MPE is axle back only - its the same set up as the 535 MPE.

but in my previous post I checked realoem for part numbers and part numbers are different.

if part numbers are different then there may be subtle differences to allow fitment.

if parts are common on cars it is normally highlighted and in this case it isn't.

but not to say in reality it wont fit, but I'm quite sure it will need some adjustments somewhere.

Sorry, don't really check the forums much but only once in a while. I was referring to the oem f06 GC BMW performance axle back exhaust.

Technically speaking, an good exhaust man can install whatever exhaust you want to fit to your car. It will merely depend on how much you want to pay. As for the 6 series exhaust, as I stated, I installed the F12 exhaust on my 535 and it only took slight adjustments to fit. The inlet tubes for the mufflers lined up fairly well with my stock exhaust, the hangers were all in the correct location. So the muffler guy simply cut the stock exhaust to allow room for a pipe to connect the stock exhaust to the new mufflers. He cut the pipe to fit and welded. Done
Total for fitting F12 exhaust to my car was $90

PJinCA, you are right about a good shop or exhaust man could install what ever muffler you want to on your car. The only thing that I don't want to do is chop and weld up new pipes for the exhaust. I was wanting to install it as is with the provide oem exhaust clamp. I just don't want to sell it later after I'm done with it as a chopped up modified exhaust.

Then only the M performance exhaust for the 535 will work. Sorry, but that is the only one that will require minimal modification. Even then the current mufflers need to be cut out and the new one bolted in with clamps.

I believe the Megan Supremo is for the 6 series because it comes with quad 4" tips and that was the route I was gonna take before the Meisterschaft exhaust I picked up. Like mentioned by PJinCA any good muffler shop can do this
