Added e85 to 91 Octane... WOW
After reading up on various sub-forums, i added 3 gallons of e85 to my regular 91 octane fill up. I have a RaceChip Ultimate and wanted to see how the higher octane would feel.
First 30 mins of driving, i didnt really feel a difference. Came home from work, left it parked overnight.... drove it this morning and WOW! The car feels like a totally different beast. Crazy what some octane can do.

E85 FTW!!
That being said, you should not use E85 with your current tune (or any stage 1 tune). Only use it with a stage 2 tune like the JB4. Keep in mind the RC does not have access to fuel, ignition, AFR, etc... so you are adding the E85 blindly and hoping for the ECU to keep everything in check

On my initial AWD Dynojet session in 72F humidity 35% my car dyno'ed 347whp/339wtq stock 2 months later in 94F humidity 34% wwith e25 blend mixture (93+e85) i hit 352whp/351wtq on same dyno.
So no tune and only e25 blend car gained even without a tune, the benefiits of e85 is seen regardless. Never the less, slap a proper tune that is tested to take advantage of e85 and you will see even more benefits.
