Dme tuning

Just wondering if anyones had and expierence with dme tuning. I see that a lot of people have good things to say about them on there instagram page but was wondering if anyone on the forums has gotten a tune from them. The numbers that they provide are amazing. I have a 550i with n63tu with jb4 but am looking to gain some more power. Is there any other tune you guys would recommend

Cherry Hill. Every car is somewhat different but I'll find out about gains soon. Will keep you posted.

They dont dyno at dmetuning directly but they advertise about 100hp at crank and 130tq they actually removed my jb4 from my car last week after having so many issues with, nothing against burgertuning themselves, they helped alot but its just too inconsistent for my taste....anyways i was stuck between them Nd rktunes which is the route i went...after doing alot of research online and local people word of mouth i heard nothing but great things not to mention the price was about half of what autocouture (dmetuning) was charging for their tune. Now i wont take anything away from autocouture their work is clean and they are a pretty big established operation and prices are fair compared to regular shops. Jordan has been dealing with e chassis cars for quite sometime and has recently broken into f series cars and i have no complaints, while i still trust autocouture with labor stuff my RKTUNES IS AWESOME my car feels like stockish 550 doesnt seem to struggle with the weight and much more sportier

How much rktunes charged you vs what dmetune were asking?

Plus mission performance told me about 100whp and 140wtq which seems a lot more then dme or rktunes.

What i really want is to see 0-60 times as well on these flash tune cars from different vendors.

Seems like it is all about we provide you this power or that power but in reality how much does that power help with the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times is also what im interested in.

Rktunes charge me 680 including labor for removing dme auto couture charges 1400 they were going to give me a deal at 1200 due to me having 4 hours of labor btwn diagnosing and removing the jb4 that was faulty from my car, Jordans (rktunes) location should be ready within a few weeks wth in house dyno which is something auto couture outsource as well, as fas numbers from mission performance only numbers for 535 ive seen are bmw doubles car which is rwd with xdrive theres a bit more power loss in motor to wheels, but ill be dynoing as soon as Jordan is up and running

Please post dyno because I am very curious as the only thing left for me to do with this car is ecu flash.

I am planning on buying e93 next and drop a sc in it as my next project. This 535 will be my DD with fun power .

I would agree anyone on the West Coast should go to Mission but here in the North East Some ppl are not comfortable removing ECU themselves (shipping afterwards) and/or rather have someone local to talk to and continuous better tune the car

Yeah I heard the whole story and it's a classic case of why you don't trust what everyone puts out on the Internet. The rod knock issue was pointed out clearly before the car left, yet the owner (who's also pushing on 150 shot of nitrous) disregarded it and paid the price later. I'm not going to point fingers but I know PP pretty well and they are not the kind to do this.

Late reply but ive contacted DME tuning there charging 1700 for the n63tu motor with claims of 140hp/160tq at crank. And they were at slip stream racing events over the weeking dominating. Not sure on what tune to choose from was planning on getting one next year anyways so i still have time
