They sold hundreds of them in just a couple days. I would like to think we had something to do about that. lol
I am probably going to sound insulate under the seat around the sub when I put them in and will post my pics of it. I may pull th entire carpet up and sound proof all the floor, but pulling the console is a alot or work and I still have to retrofit The Surround view from bimmer tech and install my intercoolers and Dinan intake before winter sets in. The Ghost BMW Underseat Subwoofer Pre-Order Offer Ends Today at 11:59pm EST (And only 50 pair are left) There's only one word to describe the response to our e-mail we sent about a week ago: WOW. When we e-mailed you last Friday to let you know that our all-new underseat subwoofer upgrades were available for pre-order, exclusively to you, for $100 off their retail price, and we only had 150 pair available at that price, we sold the full 150 pair we set aside for you out of our initial 500 pair production run in a matter of hours. We had a long meeting to discuss what to do -- should we keep the pre-order going, and let our most loyal customers continue to order even though we didn't have enough, or should we close the pre-order as planned? We decided to keep the pre-order open, and reserve an additional 150 pair, for a total of 300 pair, and put in a second order with our manufacturer to be delivered shortly after the first. But today the party ends. We've already sold through approximately 250 of the 300 pair in total that we have available, and today is the last day this amazing pre-order pricing is going to be availble. Long story short? 50 pair remain, and once they're gone, this pre-order pricing will end, even if we run out before the end of the day. Last edited by mikekilpatrick; 09-27-2015 at 03:31 PM.. |

I have a 535 with premium, put 2 JL Audio10w3, with JL XD 600w mono in the trunk, with a audiocontrol LC6i. Originally Bavsound stage 1 kit in rear deck, rear doors, and center. Went with MBQuart set for front doors and their 8s under seat. Had to replace the doors as the speakers were crap and put Bavsound, should have done it from the start but I wanted the MBquart 8s. they are actually not bad, but do distort before the Bavsound speakers. I just ordered the new subs last week for under the seats. It will be interesting to see how they sound with the 10s. I believe they will be more bid bass anyways. But really my opinion for simple plug and play, the Bavsound speakers were worth every penny!

What did you not like about the MB Quart door speakers? In previous posts they seemed to be working well for you.

the tweeters were most of the issue, just a little too much hissing. they were not very well made. I had one mid in passenger door start to fail so they just didn't hold up.

Everybody's been waiting on these subwoofers for a long time glad bav finally delivered. Wondering how these would compare to the earthquake sws subs with both being powered by an aftermarket amp. Do you think the bav would sound better since they would be picking up some midbass frequencies as well even though they are about half the RMS wattage of the sws subs?

I'm curious how the ghost subwoofer (not really a subwoofer) upgrade will sound since the system automatically cuts off all bass frequencies below 48hz. My car has the upgraded audio system and the bass response is pathetic at best, I might get the ghost woofers to replace the factory underseat woofers (factory woofers distort) to compliment the 2 15's I'm installing along with an audio control lc2 that restores the lower frequency cut off.

Simply replace your factory underseat subwoofers with direct-fit, 100% plug & play upgrade in under an hour and dramatically increase the total bass output in your BMW while also enhancing bass accuracy, tightness, and punch. You'll also get snappier, sweeter midbass response.
It only includes the woofers, there is no amp with this upgrade. |
