optimum wheel size
My 18 inch run-flat tyres were under-pressured upon collection (without knowing it) and I found my F10 with adaptive drive bouncy in normal mode and ok in sport mode. When the tyres were pressured correctly, I found the drive in sport mode better. Today, I increased the pressure to the higher recommended pressure ie for 5 persons, although at different times, it was only myself, 1 and then 2 passengers. The drive was the best.
One forummer appears to find his 18 inch non run-flats with M sport suspension fine http://f10.5post.com/forums/showpost...75&postcount=3 A forummer who has 20 inch run-flats with M sport suspension says "Driving on the highway is very comfortable, driving on the local roads is a party" http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=405658 Another forummer found 20 inch run-flats with adaptive drive lose grip on some surfaces http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=422882 This leads me to believe that the optimum wheel size for an F10 (with adaptive drive in sport mode or M sport suspension) is 19 inch for run-flats. Robin Hood finds his 19 inch run-flats with M sport suspension fine http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=426668 |
