I noticed you are in Dallas. What shop did you use? Do you know what brand paint they used since I think this may be the problem as to why it's not matching. And how much did you pay just for them to paint bumper? Just want to see what price range I should be paying. Thanks. |

CC company put a temporarily hold on the amount charged. Crappy thing is the shop has 60 days to dispute it so my credit won't be permanent until after 60 days with no dispute. But if they dispute then it's back and forth with documentation until case is fully resolved. Was hoping to get credit back for sure soon but at least I won't have to pay it for now.

Because it was cost them more to use that instead of their own paint. And than they'll have leftover paint which than won't be able to use Unless they get another AW BMW to paint. At least that's what my shop tells me.

It could be argued that these blokes in essence damaged your car by using the wrong paint. Please post the contact info of the manager and we will all call to convey our complete dissatisfaction. |

Ok there's a shop that uses PPG (not sure which line) but to respray they are asking $350 total for paint and labor but I'll have to install bumper myself. I'll call the dealership and see how much OEM 300 paint cost for the pint or quart since not sure how much is need for rear bumper. This way it be more guarantee match if the shop wiling to discount price and use paint I bring in. Also what website has the OEM paint?
I didn't think about claiming it on my insurance but they may be a route I'll take if credit card stuff falls through. I'll wait and see what happens for now. |

U can contact BMW's body shop or parts dept and they'll sell u the paint. PPG is what's been used on all my cars for car shows I enter and compete So I know it's quality paint.

Not sure how much it will cost u since it's been some time since I did that. However $350 is about average....usually I get my hook-ups So I can normally get it done for like $200 Maybe $150. But that's because I get alot of work done from them.
