M5 wheel question..!!??

I have a 2013 550ix m-sport and I'm wondering if I can just bolt on a set of 2012-2013 m5 rims? Will they fit no problem?

It's been asked many times before in the forum. The answer is Yes. But you will have to change to proper tire size front & rear

I'm running 245 35 20 and 285 30 20 and its working well with xdrive. I know some others have run 255 f and 285 r and BMW uses 245 and 275 on their 20s. You want to keep rolling diameter as close as possible. There's a calculator on 1010tires.com.

I use 255/35/20, 285/30/20, BMW's speedometer is about 3% faster, so now is 2% faster, 295/30/20 should be even better, but a bit too wide.

Do you know if a 255/30/20 all around with 20x9 rims would be fine?

I know this personally that if it's for your 550 you'll need at least a 3mm spacer to clear the calipers.

You can confirm with @jeffu cause I installed them for him and @top_agent

That's true. When I got my set of M5 rims. The seller included a set of HR 3mm spacers for the front.
