Rim/Wheel Questions

Hello All,
I'm pretty new to modifications add ons to a stock car so sorry in advance if I'm asking very basic questions. I had a couple of questions regarding rims/tires...here it goes

1) Does anyone have vossen CVT gloss graphite rims?
2) Does having x-drive matter when talking about changing out rims/wheels
3) I have a 535 m sport x drive and the tire shop keeps telling me the gap will be the same with a bigger wheel and smaller tire because the rim takes up that space. Does that sound about right?
4) Do spacers cause the wheels to stick out more?
5) For reference....I know this is an audi but I really like how the stance on this car looks:

2) Yes, it's important to keep the diameter within 1% onf the front and rear wheels.
3) Yes, bigger wheels, means the tires will have a thinner sidewall to keep the overall diameter the same.
4) Yes.

Called vossen today. They gave me 2 options that would work on my car with no modifications

Cvt on 20s:
245/35
285/30

Cvt on 21s:
245/30
295/35

Any reccomendations on tires or sizes?

245/35 + 285/30 are good for 20", but on 21" need 25 profile in the rear.

Before you pull the trigger, make sure you do some reading regarding xdrive's and a staggered setup. Many F10 owners have used a staggered setup with their xdrives without issues but there are some that have had complications. Just a heads up. For F10's, my personal opinion, I wouldn't go with anything larger than 20" wheels. You still get a nice looking wheel and still have most of the comfort. Anything larger, you'll start sacrificing ride comfort because your tire's profile will have to be smaller (smaller aspect ratio). There are tons of tire brands from top tiers like Michelon Pilot Super Sport, Pirelli P0's, etc. to mid level but still great brands like Hankooks to cheap Chinese stuff like Accelera, Delinte, etc. I would avoid anything cheapo Chinese when it comes to tires. For reference, the Audi in the pic (and remmib's above) has been lowered.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep doing some research on the rims and do a bunch of reading to make sure my setup is ideal.

Not sure how your roads are in Chicago but around here the roads are horrible so I stayed with 19's. In general, you lose ride comfort and have more risk of rim damage with smaller sidewalls (larger diameter wheels).
