Doesnt matter where you go, always going to be griefing trolls.

Edwin summed it up best, with a thread title like that ... what are you looking for in response? Thread is dead.

it's amazing how people obsess over minor differences in numbers while ignoring day and night differences in other departments (looks and real-world driving pleasure). i've had my F10 for nearly a year now and every other car i've driven just doesn't add up when it comes to the whole package.

seriously guys... will you really buy a car because it is 0.7s and 6.9mph quicker on the 1/4 mile?

there's so much more to buying a car (and other stuff) than the raw numbers. looking to another industry, there's a reason no one else can touch the iPad despite their touting of dual-core, RAM, XD, etc etc.

The thread is dead? Why, because you don't want to talk about it? Then don't.

Anyone who doesn't think that the A6 is a worthy competitor to the F10 535 is either in denial, a fanboi, or has never driven or seen one. Sorry, it is a very good vehicle. I give the edge to my 535i on personal preference. But having driven one, I give it a lot of respect. The engine and transmission is better than the N55 combo in the BMW, honestly.

Again, to me, the F10 wins as it's overall the better package, more distinctive, and fits me better. But I wouldn't tell anyone who just bought a C7 A6 that they made a mistake.

Thanks Needsdecaf, I was wondering why some guys here have hurt feelings about my post. Both cars are excellent and the best examples of German engineering. More competition will only help BMW, maybe they finally start cutting down weight for new model just like Audi doing now. So why not to compare…

I am a huge of fan of BMW. I have ordered f10 too.

Let me be fair in this case...

Remember those days where A6 was not even comprable to E39 in EVERY aspect.

I think BMW needs to step up the game nowadays. The competitors especially Audi and Infiniti are getting closer and event beat BMW in some aspects.

As BMW owner, It's sad when I have to say "X brand might beat BMW in these aspects, but BMW might be better in other aspects." it is true nowadays though.

During E39 and E46 era, we all could say our car was the best than any competitors except for price.

I think 3-series is still the king, but other BMW sedans got few very good competitors (A6 and S-class).

Not a surprise to me as the F10 535 is slower than the E60 535... BMW did not design this 535 to win these magazine comparisons. Will they follow the lead of the E90 330? We'll see.

Audi makes fines car and is on an upward tragejectory in relation to their peers. I personally believe that their product sizes and other features generated the upsizing, better interiors, and other recent improvements across the BMW product line. If I wasn't so impressed with my 5 BMW's over the recent past, BMW Euro Delivery x 5, and the professional manner in which BMW has treated me over the years, I would go out and buy an Audi A7. The Audi A7 is a spectacular car at a great price from a fine company. There is no shame in owning an Audi as an alternative to BMW. Both companies make fine cars.
