Google \'send to car\' stopped working for anyone else

Mine stopped working about a week ago and I've not got it working again yet. Also am not receiving locations from BMW Assist Info Plus service. All other Internet services working. Boom

Sorry, predictive text on iPhone finished that msg off for me then. Anyone else had problems with the send to car function then? Mines going in on Thursday. They told me it might be a defective combox.

Just tried it and it appears to be working fine.

Mine doesn't work. When I "Send" from Google it says "Message sent to car" but it never arrives. I talked to BMW Assist and they told me that my Google account name (email address) had to be in CAPs. Sounded strange but I did it. That didn't help and it still doesn't work. I'll have to get back to them.

Mine works fine, check BMW connected drive settings. On the website.

it's probably a combox issue...my entire idrive system would switch on and off intermittently...you should get it chekd out by the dealer...they had to replace my entire system.

Strangest thing happened to me. I have my car, F10 535, and my wife's car, E90 LCI 335d, both registered with different email addresses. Last week somehow BMW swapped email addresses. My wife's email address will send directions to my car and vice versa. In addition, the "My BMW Remote" app for iphone stopped working last week. I had to log out with the email address that it had been using since February and switch to my wife's email address and password, now it works again. Something's going on with BMW it seems. Maybe this will just work itself out...

So she went in to Williams Liverpool yesterday. Great dealership, perfect service. Turns out BMW apparently had some issues with their internet comms servers which had caused a problem for a few vehicles. They resolved this today and I'm now im up and running again. Happy days.

Mine went too. It WOULD work when you telephoned them and got them to send to car. If you did it, they either never arrived or took 6 days to get there....

Like you, mine started working again properly yesterday.

It's actually damned useful.

Did not work on the 27th June, but started working as usual from the 28th... since tired few times and everything works fine.
