What gas company is best

Hello all idk if this has been discussed but I was wondering what gas do you folks prefer to put in your car..I feel as if I get better fuel economy and better acceleration with Sunoco or bp

Find out if your local gas company uses splash blending of ethanol.

Turns out Feds passed a law that local gas suppliers can use a different vendor for methanol.

Instead of getting a nice mixture 90 gas and 10% ethanol, you have no idea how much gas or ethanol you are getting with splash blending.

The distance from the ethanol load to the gas station matters. If is short, the mixture will suck. Tests have shown up to 50% ethanol per tankful.

I did buy 15 bottles of concentrated Chevron fuel additive. It's the same thing they use in their fuel, make sure to buy the up to 20oz size.

BP is BMW's official gas of choice.

Shell 93 100% pure gasoline. no ethanol. Its hard to find but for me they opened a new Shell gas station about 7 miles from my house on the way to work and 2 pumps have it. $.20 more per gallon. but I got 30.5 MPG hwy over a 200 mile trip in my '14 550i. worth it. I do believe shitty gas and ethanol is terrible for our turbo motors.

I used to swear by chevron gas and noticed better fuel economy with mobil. So I stick with mobil now. I don't mind pumping shell but I will never use arco or any 2nd tier company gas.

Shell and Chervon are probably two of the best gas around as far as cleaning agents, other than that, stick with top tier brands.

Look at the following and you can see that there are a lot of so-called "top tier" gasolines available:

Yeah, I am a dork. I was thinking about the kind you drink!

The funny thing is I knew something was wrong when I typed it and yet I did nothing!

Of course, I should have said ethanol.

Shell. I rather run out of gas than buy it from BP after their awful performance in the Gulf of Mexico.

Ditto, plus an occasional can of NOS to boost performance and clean the injectors a little more.

Shell premium gas has several times the government mandated anti fouling additives in their premium gas. For me Shell is a no brainer.
