All of the remarks asking for 600 hp is ridiculus. It is not important how much power you pack, it is important how well you put it down. Think about Porsche's. They are not HP giants, but they are super fast cars.

My thoughts exactly. You can't keep adding 100 hp with each new generation. Eventually, these cars will become un-streetable if the horsepower war continues. Reducing weight is the next challenge.

I would prefer M cars stay naturally aspirated as well, but the M division is also under pressure to increase fuel economy with its products. This is where the benefits of forced induction come in.

I will take the E63 in this category. Now that's music!

Guys -- AMG worked not just the engine but the suspension on the new E63. It's going to be very good.
The new E63 has the exact same engine as the old one with 11 more hp and more weight. No way in hell is it going to be better than the new M5, or even the current one for that matter.

Will def. have same engine as X6 M...

I am good friends with the owner of my local BMW dealership I picked up my car Saturday and was talking to him about this car. He said it will be the same 555hp twin turbo engine thats in the X6 M.

Boring car nice car for tuning enthusiast for the straight line power.

I rather have car which i can steer on the throttle. That means throttle response from an atmo engine.

I am not putting in one dollar/euro into this big piece of lumpy metal.

///M is loosing it. What they have accomplish in years. The heritage of fantastic high rev racing engines for the street is going away.

But one thing is certain they can change their way in building engines and go for the easy route (turbo) But they can t get me to the point i am tranferring my hard earn cash for that.

Is it me or does this seem early for them to be testing the M? I know that they may be sharing the same engine, but I cannot remember the M prototype and the standard car wearing camo at the same time.
