Unhappy Folding wing mirrors

Does anyone know if the power folding wing mirrors can be folded in at a higher speed than 10 mph. My dealer is tell me they can't. My car is a 530D F11 2011.

Yeah, why would anyone want to do that? BTW, I think it's a good safety feature to allow it only at very low speeds.

Even if you fold it, it will re-open once it hits a certain speed (forgot how fast though)

I see the need for it for over 5 miles as I am in the country side, as some country lanes are narrow when suckers coming the opposite way with an old car, they tend not to slow down at all, passing your car very close, pulling the mirrors in can save it from been hit.
