What Tire to Buy

Guys, with Michelin PSSs almost impossible to get, what's everyone buying these days?

What size are you looking for? I just got a set of PSS from tire rack last week, they arrived within a couple days of my order. 245/40/19 and 275/35/19.

I'm running 20s, so 285/30 ZR20 is what I need.

I got this tire with similar setup and I really like them. Probably not as gripy as the PSS since they are all seasons but I feel I will never need more grip than what they provide. Wet grip is very impressive as the wear rating and the price!

F: 245/35/20 -- 8.5 x 20 ET 35
R: 285/30/20 -- 10.5 x 20 ET 45

We do not see much the tire but the side wall looks very good, have a nice wheel protection lip and I like the tread pattern.

I just bought hankook v12 evo2 for my 550i and am quite happy with them. I also have the SS on my 335i and honestly the SS might only be marginally better.

Thanks guys, but I was able to get PSSs from a local dealer here in San Diego in just two days for only $7 more than Tirerack, so I'm stoked.

Thanks! Yes I changed the bumper adaptor (behind the bumper cover) to OEM M5 to be able to fit OEM M5 diffuser. The exhaust is from Megan racing which have 4X 3.5" tips vs 3" on the M5. With the 285 wide tires and aggressive rear wheels offset it give a very nice muscular rear.

In other words my car looks more powerful than it is . I wish I had the money for a pure stage 2 right now...

Great you were able to get these for acceptable price. I never had those but all reviews I have read are pointing towards them!
