HID Fogs flicker when auto start kicks in

Having this weird issue lately. Whenever I'm at a red light or stop the car, the car shuts off automatically as usual. When the light hits green and car starts back up again, my left HID fog light flickers. It does this every time the car auto stops/starts. It never did this before until recently. Any ideas what it could be? I have morimoto HIDs installed

Has your car been to the dealer lately? I have the same HID fogs and mine started flickering upon start-up after a visit to the dealer and software update. My car doesn't have auto start-stop, so I only deal with it upon initial start-up. I have noticed if I wait about 90 seconds after start-up, they fire up with no issues. Otherwise one side flickers and I get a bulb error.

A component of your HID kit is a more likely factor here, especially since it seems the issue only affects one side. Swap the bulbs side-to-side, then the ballasts. Draw your conclusions accordingly.
