Didn't like the first wrap, so I decided to the change color to satin matte black. Updates soon when finished.

Thanks guys, gonna put in some more work tonight. Hopefully be able to get it all finished tonight. Hardest piece to wrap is the m5 bumper.

I wouldn't mind wrapping mine. I'm trying to wrap my M6 in chrome rose gold for an upcoming cancer awareness car show. I lost my best friend a month ago to cancer and will be attending in her memory.

Problem is people in my area want thousands on thousands to wrap the car. I think I'll just try it myself. And fail probably lol

What vinyl are you using?

Are you doing it all in one piece per section?

I'm glad to see you're doing it for a good cause and has lots of meaning. from what i've read chrome wrap is more difficult than regular wrap. You never know till you try it. lol. that's what i did. And then i found out i like doing it. so this is my third time wrapping it. lol At the moment, Im using vinyl that I ordered from china. and to be honest, they work great. I've used 3m vinyl and vivid vinyl before. and these ones from china works just as good.

Yes, I'm doing each section with one piece of vinyl. The m5 bumper and the back of the trunk is probably the most difficult.

Didn't know what to do with the chrome on the side market. So I decided to wrap the surroundings. What you guys think? Should I wrap it gloss black or carbon fiber instead of the matte?

Not a bad deal! I heard Avery Wrap is easy to work with because it's breathable material so bubbles are a breeze to smooth out, especially on curved surfaces. The M6 is a very curvy car.

Are you doing this by yourself? How do you get the edges to stay down?

Yes I'm doing it myself. I fold the edges in, then I go over it a second time but with a heat gun.

You're making me want to attempt to DIY my car. But I'd hate to spend $600 on vinyl just to waste it.

It'll be a fun project. Order from china, you can get some for under $200. Then won't feel as bad. Lol.
