Front Strut Stabiliser Bar

I found this on ebay, from a seller in Malaysia (ships worldwide)

Has anyone tried it ? Says 525 on it but not sure if its just for a 525d. I mean all F10s should be the same so it should fit a 550i... right ?
Its at pretty decent price, and I can get it for a bit cheaper too since I have an ebay motor's discount.

I asked him yesterday but no response tho

Id go with the one from TurnerMotorsport either aluminum or carbon fiber. A little bit more in price tho. Ill have to read up a bit on the one u posted from eBay

OK...looks pretty legit as they gave some pretty good info including a stress test under load.

Only thing is they come in white?

If you're AW no problem but anybody else it'll stand out like a soar thumb. U could get it powder coated???

meh ... I pulled the trigger on it...

got it for 150$ shipped, now lets see how long it takes to get to the USA.

I for some reason had a 20$ off coupon, not sure if it works for anyone else, give it a try.

It looks like it would fit but if the price goes up at all it might be worth it to spring for the TMS one. Theirs has an adjustment nut on each side so you can pre tension the brace after installation.

It did, really fast actually, ordered Monday and came Wednesday but missed it since it had to be signed for, got it Thursday, I just moved to a new place a month ago so I had no tools with me, I just got some last night, I will be putting it on tonight. I'll take photos, Ima fit it first and then if its all good Im going to just spray paint it black

It fit pretty good, kinda tight in the middle, but I think its because its the 550i (v8) if it was a smaller engine it would fit with more room most likely.
The car feels way tighter now, a bit too tight, but might just need to get used to it.
I will post photos in the morning, too lazy and tired to upload them right now.

the stabilizer bars should make it feel tighter on corners.

Alright photo time.

This morning it felt better, not as much body roll, I wanna eventually get the M5 bottom front sway bar

I might actually paint all three engine bars the same color as my calipers.

Holy crap it fit! I have the lower M5 sway and that was barely noticeable for me, but maybe and this is a big maybe. Maybe combined with the strut tower I will notice less tilt in my turns.

The best upgrade on my non-edc was the rear sway bar (640i rear sway). Very noticeable.

Since it's not name brand painting or carbon fiber vinyl wrapping is in order. I think low sheen black keeps it stealth.

Theirs has an adjustment nut on each side so you can pre tension the brace after installation.
